Privacy Policy for Our Website
This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the ICO framework. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
Important notice: This website is informational only. We do not hold a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) licence. We review and compare offshore betting sites that operate outside the GamStop self-exclusion scheme.
Who We Are
We operate a review and comparison website focused on non-GamStop betting sites. We are based in the United Kingdom. For all data-related matters, write to [email protected].
Data We Collect
We collect two types of data: data you give us directly, and data collected automatically. Neither type is sold to third parties. Below is a breakdown of each category.
Contact Form Submissions
When you submit a contact form, we collect your name and email address. We use this data only to respond to your query. We delete contact form data within 90 days of your last message.
Cookies and Analytics Data
We use cookies to understand how you navigate our site. Google Analytics 4 collects anonymised data such as page views, session duration, and device type. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time via our cookie consent banner.
Affiliate Tracking Links
Many links on this site are affiliate links to offshore bookmakers. When you click one, a tracking cookie is placed by the affiliate network, not by us. This cookie records whether you register or deposit, so the bookmaker can pay us a commission.
The affiliate networks we work with include companies such as Income Access and MyAffiliates. These networks operate their own privacy policies. We recommend you read those policies before registering with any bookmaker.
How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your contact form messages.
- To improve site content using anonymised analytics data.
- To track affiliate commissions via third-party networks.
- To comply with our legal obligations under UK GDPR.
Third-Party Data Sharing
We share limited data with two categories of third party. First, Google Analytics receives anonymised browsing data. Second, affiliate networks receive click and conversion data when you follow a bookmaker link.
We do not share your name, email address, or contact form data with any third party. We do not sell personal data under any circumstances. All third-party processors are required to handle data in line with UK GDPR.
Affiliate Links and Offshore Bookmakers
Offshore bookmakers are licensed outside the UK, often in jurisdictions such as Curacao or Malta. When you click an affiliate link and register, your data is handled by that bookmaker directly. Their privacy practices are governed by their own jurisdiction and policy.
We have no control over how offshore bookmakers process your personal data. You should review each bookmaker’s privacy policy before creating an account. This is especially important because UK GDPR may not apply to those operators.
Cookies We Use
- Essential cookies: Required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 cookies that track anonymised usage data. You can decline these.
- Affiliate cookies: Set by third-party affiliate networks when you click a bookmaker link. These are controlled by the network, not us.
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time. Use the cookie consent banner that appears on your first visit. You can also clear cookies via your browser settings.
Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have clear rights over your personal data under UK GDPR. These rights apply to any data we hold directly, such as contact form submissions. They do not extend to data held by third-party bookmakers or affiliate networks.
- Right of access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right to deletion: You can ask us to delete your personal data.
- Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to restrict processing: You can ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Right to opt out: You can opt out of analytics cookies via the consent banner at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Data Retention
We retain contact form data for a maximum of 90 days. Anonymised analytics data is retained for 14 months, in line with Google Analytics 4 default settings. We do not retain affiliate click data ourselves as this is held by the affiliate network.
Children’s Data
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data via our contact form, email us immediately at [email protected].
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Last updated: June 2025.
